So sorry that I haven't been much of a critic lately. I need to catch up. I went to ACL again (Austin City Limits Fest) and will catch up soon with a full report.
I hope y'all caught Tina coming back as Palin on SNL. Tina is the only good thing about SNL right now. I'm thankful to Sarah Palin only for that, that she has given a breath of fresh air to a stalemate comedy skit series. Anyway, here's her reprisal and this time we get Amy Poehler as my favorite newswoman Katie Couric. I love that pink coat on Tina. And the recreation of the interview points breaks me. I laugh and then cry because it's so sad that most Americans value the charisma Palin has to offer over expertise and wisdom.
Enjoy!

Tina Wants Her Glasses Back!
Tina,
You are genius. Can't wait for new 30 Rock episodes. And glad to see you'll be Palin for about 60 days!

Alaskan Front
Ok, so this is the best rumor ever! Shall we see Tina on SNL tonight? I hope so. She'll be so darn good at Palin I might just bust a gut.
We shall see!

Triple Homage
SNL seriously rocked the other night, so much so it's said that the show scored the best ratings in 2 years. Congrats writers! The break worked! And Tina Fey helped a wee bit. Where do I start...
The homage to Obama and Hilary was too funny! And then the homage to Rock of Love with Bret Michaels was too much for my little dirty heart. Tina Fey is too much in this. And Kristen Wiig looked exactly like Peyton and sounded dead on, check it out, soooo freaking me out. I love it.
Next, an homage to There Will Be Blood's Daniel Plainview, ok this was really freaking me out and I don't know how Bill Hader kept a straight face through this one.
And the best homage was to the duty we all face as women, the dreaded PERIOD. Thank goodness we have Annuale!
p.s. Next week's episode:
Ellen Page (and WILCO!) on March 1st
